Kertas Band - Kekasih Yang Tak Dianggap

Kertas band, band asal Palembang-Sumsel ini digawangi oleh Rizal (vokal), Radha (gitar), Andit (drum), Endra (bas) dan Argha (gitar). memang sih Band ini baru terbentuk sejak pertengahan Mei 2005 lalu, namun prestasinya sudah lumayan banyak loh. Salah satunya sang vokalis Rizal (vokal) yang dianugerahi The Best Vocalist Festival Cyberb Tech Universitas Bina Dharma 2004 dan juga jadi finalis 3 Besar Dream Band 2005 untuk Daerah Jakarta dan Bandung. Mengapa memilih julukan Kertas? “Filosofi ‘Kertas’ adalah lembar yang berguna. Media untuk menulis. Menorehkan pikiran dan isi hati. Kertas media yang netral, bisa dihitamkan, bisa dibirukan. Atau dengan warna apa pun. Di masa depan harapan kami Kertas bisa menjadi sesuatu yang berguna, kata sang vokalis.

Berbarengan dengan konser mereka pada hari Sabtu Tanggal 2 Desember 2006 di Planet Hollywood, Jakarta, Kertas band merilis album perdana mereka yang berjudul “Kekasih Yang Tak Dianggap.” dalam proses kelahiran album perdananya ini, Kertas didukung oleh beberapa musisi seniornya seperti Adith The Fly, Benny Vena, Ian Protonema, Heydie Ibrahim eks Power Slaves, DD Crow Roxx, dan Andy Juliet. Nah jika kita simak komposisi dalam album ini ada lebih banyak lagu ciptaan Benny Hadislani, seperti lagu “Selamat Tinggal Kekasih Terbaik” dan “Saat Telponku Tak Kau Angkat”, Serta lagu “Kekasih Yang Tak Dianggap” yang jadi lagu andalan mereka.
