Setelah Levi, Kin Aulia, dan Adith kebanjiran demo lamaran untuk posisi vokal dan kemudian diadakan sebuah audisi untuk mengisi posisi yang kosong ini, maka terpilihlah seorang Vokalis baru, Siapakah dia? adalah Gian, Gian merupakan nama kecil dari Firman Siagian, Putra dari pasangan Bapak J. Siagian dan Ibu T. Simanjuntak, Gian lahir di Balige, 3 November 1978, Ia bervokal powerful dan punya karakter vokal rock yang unik juga telah teruji kemampuan menyanyinya ditelinga jutaan pencinta musik Indonesia, Ia juga merupakan Finalis 3 besar Indonesian Idol 2. Hal baru yang lain dari The Fly kali ini ialah The Fly punya sebuah lambang yang mewakili band itu, ialah Simbol yang terdiri dari dua buah lingkaran kecil dan satu lingkaran besar serta ditambah dengan tanda circumflex accent (^) dibawahnya, sehingga lambang itu seperti membentuk gambar wajah kepala seekor Lalat.

Ihsan Idol - The Winner

Siapa tidak dengan kenal Pemenang Indonesian Idol 2006?, adalah Ihsan yang punya nama komplet Muhamad Ihsan Tarore yang lahir di Medan, Sumatera Utara, 20 Agustus 1989, Tanggal 23 Maret 2007 yang lalu Dia meluncurkan album solo perdananya bertitel The Winner, Album The Winner ini merupakan salah satu Agenda besarnya di tahun 2007.

Dalam Album The Winner, Ia mempersembahkan 10 buah lagu yang berkomposisi musik pop rock dan beragam iringan gitar akustik, seperti hit singlenya Bunga (Karena Aku Lelaki), lagu yang berirama pop rock ballad ini menceritakan tentang seorang pria yang memutuskan hubungan dengan kekasihnya, kemudian menyesal dan berharap untuk dapat kembali ke pangkuan kekasihnya lagi. Lagu ini pula menjadi theme song sinetron “Bunga” yang ditayangkan di RCTI yang diperankan juga oleh Ihsan sendiri.

Adapun ramuan dalam album ini selain lagu bunga juga ada beberapa lagu lainnya seperti Bertanya Dalam Hati dengan sentuhan tempo slow yang terbungkus dalam petikan gitar akustik. Lagu Kemenangan Hati, karya Yovie Widianto yang diiringi dengan suara denting piano yang liris manis. kemudian lagu Buah Hati dengan sentuhan mid tempo yang dijadikan sebagai Original Sountrack “Melodi”, selanjutnya lagu dengan alunan speed beat seperti pada lagu Mimpiku. Serta lagu yang perrnah masuk dalam urutan lagu Album Indonesian Idol 3 – Tribute To Tony Koeswoyo “Diana” juga mengisi content Album The Winner ini. Sedang proses pembuatan Albumnya sendiri Ihsan dibantu oleh beberapa musisi ternama seperti Andi Rianto, Badai ‘Kerispatih’, Mhala (Numata) dan Ari Bias serta Yovie Widianto.

Republik-Punya Arti

Telah terbentuk sebuah Republik baru di Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia, namun Republik ini bukanlah negara, tapi sebuah band asal Surabaya yang beranggotakan Ruri Herdian Wantogia {Vokal}, Hexananta Sayuthi dan Heri Masrulah Achmad {gitar}, Lafi Hariyatulafian {bass}, Bachtiar Rahman Hamzah {kibord}, Agus Mulyana {drum}. Band yang menyebut fans-nya dengan kata Republikan ini, ternyata memberi nama REPULIK dengan harapan kelak Republikan akan menjadi seorang “Raja”, yaitu sosok yang dicintai, dihormati dan menjadi panutan banyak orang.

REPULIK hadir di blantika musik indonesia lewat Album bertitel “Punya Arti”, dimana pada setiap lagunya mempunyai kisah-kisah tersendiri dari para personelnya. Dalam Album ini Mereka menyajikan single hits “Hanya Ingin Kau Tahu” yang bukan berkisah tentang cinta yang seperti biasanya, tapi bercerita tentang laki-laki yang jatuh cinta pada seorang perempuan, namun si perempuan ternyata menjadi kekasihnya hanya berdasarkan rasa iba.

Dalam Album ini juga Republik menyuguhkan lagu yang lainnya seperti “Jika Aku Mati” yang menceritakan tentang angkuhnya seorang wanita. Selanjutnya “Biarkanlah Ku Melihat Surga” yang bercerita tentang ungkapan hati seseorang yang disampaikan pada saat detik-detik terakhir hidupnya. lalu “Telah Kuberikan” yang menegaskan sebuah pengorbanan yang sia-sia. Serta “Untuk Terakhir” berpesan tentang harapan seseorang sebelum berpisah dengan orang yang disayanginya.

Proses Pengerjaan Album Punya Arti ini memakan waktu empat bulan. Lirik lagu-lagunya ditulis di Bogor. Sedangkan proses rekamannya dikerjakan di studio Blackboard. Adapun musik yang dianut Republik ialah Musik REPUBLIK. berdasar pada tiap lagu REPUBLIK yang masing-masing lagu berunsur warna tersendiri dan kompleks. Dan musik REPUBLIK sendiri akan berkembang di masa-masa yang akan datang.

Sherina hadir dengan kedewasaannya

Masih ingat dengan gadis yang menjadi pemeran utama Film Petualangan Sherina?, Ia adalah Sinna Sherina Munaf, gadis kelahiran Bandung, 11 Juni 1990, Ia terkenal lewat Film karya Skenario Jujur Prananto dan sutradara Riri Riza “Petualangan Sherina”. Ia pun terangkat namanya menjadi penyanyi cilik diblantika musik indonesia pada tahun 1999 lewat Album Andai Aku Besar Nanti.

Hari ini,tanggal 18 Maret 2007, Sherina akan meluncurkan Albumnya terbarunya yang bernuansa rock dengan titel Primadona, Primadona merupakan gambaran kemarahannya sebuah hubungan yang tidak sehat baik hubungan dengan teman pria, teman maupun juga dengan keluarga.

Dalam Album Primadonanya, putri kedua dari Triawan Munaf dan Luki Ariani ini mempersembahkan 10 buah lagu, komposisinya ada 7 buah lagu ciptaan Sherina, salah satu lagunya yaitu “Sendiri” yang berkolaborasi dengan gitaris SLANK Abdee dan juga ada sebuah lagu ciptaan Putri Triawan munaf yang jadikan pula sebagai judul album ini, performance dalam Album ini Sherina menunjukan bahwa dirinya bukan sebagai anak kecil lagi tapi lebih sebagai orang dewasa. “Di sini aku berusaha menonjolkan diriku yang sekarang, dewasa, dan matang. Bukan Sherina yang dulu ada di Petualangan Sherina,” katanya.

Kertas Band - Kekasih Yang Tak Dianggap

Kertas band, band asal Palembang-Sumsel ini digawangi oleh Rizal (vokal), Radha (gitar), Andit (drum), Endra (bas) dan Argha (gitar). memang sih Band ini baru terbentuk sejak pertengahan Mei 2005 lalu, namun prestasinya sudah lumayan banyak loh. Peluncuran Album Andra and The Backbone

Andra yang menjadi salah satu pentolan Dewa ini akhirnya melepaskan daya rock primanya dalam Andra & The Backbone, Tanggal 17 Januari 2007 kemarin Andra & The Backbone telah me-launching album mereka, album Andra & The Backbone. sebenarnya album ini sudah dirilis sejak akhir Desember 2006 yang lalu. Namun launchingnya baru dilaksanakan Rabu kemarin pukul 15.00 - 17.00 WIB di Hard Rock Cafe, Jakarta. Album tersebut merupakan proyek solo yang sudah dimulai sudah sejak lama oleh andra,namun baru terlaksana proses rekamannya dari bulan Juni hingga Desember .dan juga Secara kebetulan pula, jadwal Dewa tahun ini sedikit longgar. Jadi andra bisa punya ruang waktu dalam proses pembuatannnya, meskipun andra masih bernaung dibawah bendera Dewa, namun Andra sang gitaris tetap bersemangat dalam proyek solonya ini.

Dan Sebagai bukti dari keberhasilannya ialah Album Andra & The Backbone ,dalam album tersebut mereka mempersembahkan hits single pertama, “Musnah”.lagu ini berkisah tentang putusnya cinta yang berubah menjadi rasa benci. lagu musnah juga menjadi lagu kunci yang menggambarkan karakter musik yang dianut Andra & The Backbone. Adapun komposisi musik Andra & The Backbone sendiri catchy tapi unik, keras namun renyah.

Andra & The Backbone di gawangi oleh Dedi (vokalis), Andra (Gitar) yang juga salah satu personil DEWA , dan Stevie Item (Gitar). Mengenai Kata ‘Backbone’ sendiri diambil oleh andra karna dia punya masalah dengan tulang punggungnya.

Kelasik - The White Album

KELASIK, sebuah band yang beranggotakan 4 (empat) orang pria : ‘Abund’ Ervan (Lead Vokal), Bagus Iman (Gitar), Pandu Cipto (Bass), dan Ikmal Tobing (drum) telah mengeluarkan album perdana mereka. Album bertajuk “The White Album” ini dirilis secara independent.

KELASIK membawakan lagu-lagu berirama Pop yang segar dan uptempo. Sepintas lagu-lagu yang dibawakan KELASIK mengingatkan pada lagu-lagu yang pernah dipopulerkan oleh era 1980-an. Musik KELASIK mempersonifikasikan musik-musik melodik dekade 80an ke bentuk masa kini yang fresh. Untuk penampilan visual si atas panggung KELASIK akan tampil dengan kostum suit-jacket yang rapi dan seragam.

Sejak dibentuk pada tanggal 1 Juni 2002, KELASIK mempunyai konsep penampilan panggung yang unik yaitu serius tapi santai; santai tapi serius.

Pada album perdana KELASIK, lagu berjudul “Pencuri Hati” telah dipilih sebagai hit single pertama. Lagu berirama cepat-sedang ini, mengisahkan curahan hati seorang pria yang jatuh hati. Lirik-lirik sederhana mengalir dalam irama yang catchy. Secara umum, ”Pencuri Hati” dapat menggambarkan identitas musikalitas KELASIK.

Lagu “Hakikatnya Cinta” (track 2) berbicara lebih dalam akan arti sebuah cinta, bukan hanya apa yang terjadi di antara sepasang kekasih yang sedang kasmaran. Hakikatnya Cinta berbicara tentang esensi dari sebuah rasa kasih, yang lebih sering terlihat di antara ibu dengan anaknya. Kombinasi antara lirik yang mendalam dengan nada yang harmonis, membuat lagu ini sangatlah menarik untuk diselami.

“Cintaku Sampai Mati” (track 3) mengisahkan seorang pria yang telah menetapkan sebuah pilihan, sang dewi di hatinya. Tanpa berkesan ‘gombal’, KELASIK mengeksplorasi ungkapan dan perasaan sang pria melalui sebuah lagu.

Lagu “Bukannya Ku Tak Cinta” (track 4) merupakan lagu yang jujur berbicara mengenai realita kehidupan cinta dan dapat terjadi kepada siapa saja. Lagu ini menggambarkan keputusasaan seorang pria yang ingin melupakan seseorang kekasih yang nyaris membuatnya gila.

Petikan lirik tadi adalah salah satu bagian lagu Karena Dia, yang dijadikan sebagai single kedua KELASIK. Lagu yang nggemesin ini menceritakan tentang duka dan duka (bukan suka dan duka) punya cewek. Bagaimana seorang cewek bisa membuat hari-hari sang cowok menjadi terbalik-balik. a bit twisted…:d

Tapi, apa lacur… secara butuh kasih sayang juga, terpaksalah si cowok mengalah. Semua karena dia, hatinya lemah karena dia… Karena Dia…

Dimainkan dalam tempo yang upbeat, lagu ini mampu memainkan emosi kita. Naik turun bagai roller coster. Membuat senyum-senyum kecut sendiri.

‘The White Album’ mempunyai pesan moral bahwa kehidupan manusia yang sedih, pahit ataupun getir harus dengan sabar kita jalani. Karena tanpa merasakan itu semua, kita tidak akan tahu apa rasanya senang, sukses atau bahagia. Dengan diluncurkannya ‘The White Album’ pada bulan Mei 2006, KELASIK berharap album perdana ini dapat diterima oleh masyarakat Indonesia.

Ecoutez! ( Album Ekute)

Kembali band pendatang baru di Blantika musik tanah air dan kali ini dengan nama yang cukup unik, Ecoutez!(Bhs Perancis) baca: Ekute, yang artinya dengarkan. Lahirnya nama ECOUTEZ!,awalnya mereka ingin memberi nama Perancis yang Unik, Catchy dan Simple. Akhirnya mereka mendapatkan nama ECOUTEZ! Nama tersebut dari Amar (Maliq & The Essential) yang artinya dengarkan.band dengan personelnya antara lain Ayi (gitar),Delia (vokal),Iaz (keyboard),Leo (bass),dan Jay (drum).

Dibawah label AlfaRecord, Album bertitel EKUTE merupakan album perdana ECOUTEZ! yang bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan spelling dari kata ECOUTEZ! Yang kurang akrab terdengar, ditulis dan dibaca oleh orang-orang Indonesia. Album yang berjudul EKUTE ini sendiri berisi 10 lagu dengan hits pertama yang berjudul Simpan Saja.
